    Composer Raymond Deane’s fascinating memoir, In My Own Light, was launched by Robert Ballagh to a packed room in the Irish Writers Centre on May 22. Advance copies of Raymond Deane’s new CD, “Noctuary”, featuring pianist Hugh Tinney, were also available.

  • Two New Books by Henry Murdoch to Be Launched by Tanaiste

    Well known barrister and author Henry Murdoch has written two new books about his native Killaloe that will be launched by Tanaiste Eamon Gilmore. Remembering Killaloe is an entertaining account of living in twin Irish heritage towns, Killaloe and Ballina, over 50 years ago as a child, teenager, and young adult. My Killaloe is a personal tour of 100 places of interest in Killaloe and Ballina, most with both historic and contemporary photographs. Both will be launched at the National Rehabilitation Hospital on June 25
